Travel Support

Supporting you to get to APAX.

PAC Australia is committed to greater access and representation at APAX, and securing travel bursaries for delegates to reduce financial barriers and support more people to connect with APAX.

Bursaries provide financial support for delegates’ costs associated with attending APAX, including flights, accommodation, ground transport and per diems as well as an additional contribution for unwaged producers or artists.

Bursaries are available for First Nations and Indigenous artists and producers from across Australia, as well as bursaries for artists, producers and presenters from Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, New South Wales and the Northern Territory.

Northern Territory bursaries are available to support travel expenses and registration costs for NT delegates residing outside the Darwin, Palmerston, Litchfield region; and for Darwin, Palmerston, Litchfield region delegates’ registration costs only.

Applications for travel bursaries have now closed.

PAC Australia acknowledges the generous support of the APAX travel bursaries from CreateSA, the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland, the Northern Territory Government through ArtsNT, the NSW Government through Create NSW and the Western Australian Government through Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.

Unfortunately, state government support has not been provided in 2025 for delegates from the ACT, Tasmania and Victoria.

Arts ACT have advised any interested ACT applicants to apply for funding through the Arts Activities Funding Quick Response grants – valued up to $5,000. Further information on this grant can be found at Arts ACT
