Travel Support
Supporting you to get to APAX.
PAC Australia is committed to greater access and representation at APAX and securing travel bursaries for delegates to reduce financial barriers and support more people to connect with APAX. Bursaries provide financial support for delegates’ costs associated with attending APAX, including flights, accommodation, ground transport and per diems as well as an additional contribution for unwaged independents.
Travel bursaries will be made available for artists, producers and presenters through an Expression of Interest process in May/June 2025.
PAC Australia is currently in negotiation with the state and territory funding bodies to secure travel bursaries, and information will be updated here as soon as possible.
Financial support to pitch at APAX & develop your tour producing skills
Creative Australia have provided PAC Australia with funds to support independent artists to participate in their Course 2 Tour Producer Training for 2025.
Funding support will cover your course enrolment fees, APAX Arts Market registration and some wage support. It does not cover travel costs. In order to receive this support, you must be an independent artist and available to participate in all online and the in-person intensive in Garramilla/Darwin on Monday 11 August, 2025.
This level of support to travel to pitch and develop professionally is only available in 2025. If you are an independent artist who has a nationally tour-ready work, and is dedicated to developing your tour producing skills, we encourage you to apply for both the Arts Market and our Tour Producer Training course.
Applications for the Arts Market close 11.59pm AEST on Tuesday 8 April.
Applications for the Course 2 Tour Producer Training close Monday 14 April.
