We’ll make our home across several iconic venues in Darwin, all within walking distance of each other.
This year, we are thrilled to partner with the Darwin Entertainment Centre/AANT Centre and Darwin Festival, along with other local venue providers, to give you an authentic taste of Darwin and an unforgettable experience.
While most of our Arts Markets and conference sessions will be hosted at the Darwin Entertainment Centre/AANT Centre, some events may take you to other nearby venues throughout the program.
Darwin Entertainment Centre (DEC)/AANT Centre

The Darwin Entertainment Centre/AANT Centre, located in Darwin’s vibrant waterfront area, is the heart of the APAX Event, hosting most sessions and key events.
As the city’s main concert venue, it regularly features performances by the Darwin Symphony Orchestra. The Centre includes two theatres—the 1,000-seat Playhouse and the 290-seat Studio Theatre—along with an Exhibition Gallery and Rehearsal Room.
A First Nations Space, Quiet Room, and Prayer Room will be available at the Darwin Entertainment Centre/AANT Centre to ensure delegates have a comfortable and inclusive experience.

Hilton Garden Inn Darwin
Monday 11 August (Morning Training Programs), Wednesday 13 August (Various Times), Thursday 14 August (Various Times), Friday 14 August (Various Times).
The Hilton Garden Inn will host the in-person training intensives on Monday 11 August for those enrolled in the Presenter Development Program, Presenter Training Program, and Tour Producer Training Program. These sessions are available exclusively to individuals who have been selected through the application process, offering a focused and immersive learning experience.
APAX sessions will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Darwin port bandstand – darwin festival’s park
Monday 11 August (Afternoon/Evening)
The Bamboo Bandstand, located within the Darwin Festival’s gardens, is a key feature of the festival, offering free live music from local artists and a variety of street food. It’s a great spot for delegates to relax, network, and enjoy Darwin’s outdoor lifestyle during the evenings.

Darwin Ski Club
Wednesday 13 August (Evening)
The IMPACT Awards ceremony will take place at the Darwin Ski Club, a well-known Darwin icon, on Wednesday evening. Set on the beautiful Fannie Bay, this venue offers a relaxed, scenic atmosphere, with the best sunset views in Darwin, perfect for our evening celebration.

mindil beachside pavilion
Thursday 14 August (Morning)
The impressive Beachside Pavilion overlooks the Arafura sea and is Darwin’s only five-star beachside function venue. The massive Beachside Pavilion is a permanent all-weather air-conditioned structure and the perfect setting to experience Darwin’s famous sunsets year-round.
The Conference part of APAX will open at Mindil Beachside Pavilion on Thursday.

THE ESPLANADE
